I bought a wagon so I figured why not add a kid...
Drew Christopher born this a.m. 8lb 3oz. He has his mom's sense of direction so he was going the wrong way which made things interesting but baby and mama are both happy and healthy now resting and recovering from a long day.

Since he was going the wrong direction they got him out sawzall style. We found that out about a week ago and had it scheduled so we avoided most of the drama and craziness.

Sooooooo.... funny story. There's another Drew (not Andrew) Christopher out there...

I can't lie, that's where the Drew part came from. The middle name Christopher is just a hell of a coincidence (we brought it over because it's my middle name).
Would you expect anything less out of a Purdue grad?? :D

Actually, the next 4 years should be interesting with college. Looks like Georgia Tech will be the selection, which means I'm on the line for $180,000 for the next four years. Guess that's why I'm getting the garage and the car done immediately, cuz God knows, I may not be able to afterwards.
After 4 years...it's easy street. :hurray:
2 words: Projectile poop.
That didn't bother me so much, it was the weird colors and awful smells; projectile vomit; me, into the diaper pale.
Congrats, by the way.
Everything you need to know about babies:
First year - pour it in one end, wipe it off the other.
2nd year - Trying to get them to walk and talk.
Years 3-18: Trying to get them to sit down and shut up.

There is only one decision to make about your child's future.
Will they have a college fund or a bail fund? :yesnod:

Thanks all. It's been a busy few days as you might expect. Everybody is healthy but he's having a bit of a tough time eating. I think it's actually harder on the mama than it is on him. It's not TOO bad, but feeding and trying to get him to eat is taking up about 23.5 hours of the day. He's getting a little better. These next few days will be pretty important.
There goes your race fund !!:funnier:
Congrats.
First thing that crossed my mind too.
I still have the car half ripped apart which isn't helping anything. The mama had a rough pregnancy and we had about a gazillion other things happening over the winter so time to work on the car was hard to come by for the last couple of months.
The race FUND is still good to go (for now). The race TIME is what is a bit in question this year. My SCCA license expired Mar 1 which means I would have to go back to school... and none of them line up with my schedule at all. It may be just cruising around at an HPDE or 2 and then basically starting over next year.

Expiration should not be an issue if you completed your 2 races for the year.
I didn't. With new job, moving, remodeling a house, and then the baby on top of it, I didn't do much of anything at all. A few HPDE to keep the rust off and have a little fun.
I'll call but I don't think it'll do any good
As little as I was in the car, I can't argue too much with them. The worst part is the $$ to rent a Miata for a weekend. The GTA car simply isn't made to cycle like that with no turn time like the school is run.
