She wins the "Ya Think?" award for the bolded bit...
DAYTONA BEACH — A Cocoa Beach woman smashed through the infield of the Daytona International Speedway early Saturday morning, injuring four people and damaging six vehicles, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.
Police said that they could smell alcohol on Abbie Kinney, 43, who blew twice the legal limit.
Four witnesses told police that they watched Kinney drive her black Toyota truck into four people and six vehicles, including motor homes, near Lake Lloyd, a well-known area of the racetrack known for its camping during the Daytona 500.
The arrest report said that Kinney told police she "shouldn't have been driving" because she had been drinking. She then failed all of the sobriety exams and and took a breath test in which the first try she blew a 0.179, which is well above the legal limit, the report indicated.
Kinney faces nine charges of damaging persons or property while driving under the influence as well as one charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
She remained in custody Saturday afternoon.
You've come a long way, baby! :seasix:
