Already went on that cruise. I can assure you there's nothing fun about it.
Not to be a buzz kill but I fail to see the funny in that one.

For starters our US Navy has to give the Pirates more rights and respect than a us citizen. I wonder if sailing those waters in a Russian vessel wouldn't be more "fun" as they seem to be delivering the Pirates just what they deserve.

Or another I'm pretty sure this one and another similar are direct genoeva convention violations.

In all seriousness though, it's tough to document and support the idea of killing or capturing these fools without putting yourself or your ship in danger.

Clearly, from the ad, we wouldn't be restricted as the US Navy apparently was, and as was said earlier.
I'm sure the food would be 5 star and it would be a great trip.
Those Russians sure seem to be having fun. The reviews are glowing! :seasix:

More like not a fan of watching my friends get blown up, shot, and otherwise attacked... or being shot at myself.
11 months, 200+ boardings, 2 good friends dead, more than that injured, 2 surgically repaired knees, and enough other happy memories to last a lifetime.
Sorry, I just don't see it as a joking subject. I'll bow out of this thread. :seeya:

I don't see humor in being killed by pirates, but I do see humor in killing pirates. They chose death far in advance of it being formally presented to them.

Yep. East coast of Africa, 2007-2010. Not a fun place to be. For some reason what really goes on over there never seems to make the news.
No apologies needed. I realize that it's a subject that I may be juuuuuuust a bit touchy about.

:patriot:.. No, I just didn't know. I'd be touchy about it too if I went through that.
