NOW we'll see if the Republicans have grown a set....
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia found dead in Texas - CBS News (http://www.cbsnews.com/news/supreme-court-justice-antonin-scalia-found-dead-in-texas/)
His replacement to the court would be President Obama's third nomination. He previously nominated Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. But CBS News Chief Legal Correspondent Jan Crawford said it is unclear whether the Republican-held Senate will entertain a nomination from Mr. Obama or wait for a new president to be elected this November.
"It could be very unlikely that President Obama that will get that nomination," Crawford said. "This court could remain with eight justices until the next president takes office. I think that's very unclear what will happen."
"This vote will change the balance of the Supreme Court if a liberal is nominated," she added.

In 1968 the Republican minority was able to block the appointment of a SC justice until after the election. If the Republican majority can't do that, well, we're done for.

will the power in congress swing with the election too? Do the republicans have more influence today, than they will in 12 months after Trump loses to Billary? And the voters vote against all of the congressional incumbents?

McConnell has already issued a statement that no appointment should be made until after the next president takes office.

She can't be the next justice if she's picking the next justice and if she ain't Bernie will be.
The GOP has as much chance of winning the White House as I have of nailing Charlize Theron in the pooper.
have obama appoint ted cruz. he's qualified, replaces Tony very nicely, easy to confirm.
then lets obama make the case that hillary or bernie should win, as they could later appoint more justices.

Because I'm a little more libfuktard than many of you, (OK all of you :D ) I wasn't a huge fan of Scalia. He was definitely the last of the Reagan conservative movement, and I agreed with many of his decisions. But his position on gay's was ridiculous and will forever taint his legacy. I do however respect his beliefs and the fact he held to them.
YMMV.
RIP.
The Dems had him knocked off so Obama could nominate another lib. :leaving:

It's not exclusive to the Klintons, but the entire communist movement, and yes, there was a flick of some CIA type explaining just how a 'heart attack' shot is administered, the chemical is a small dart, and it is frozen, put into the barrel of the gun, and propelled into the victim, leaving nothing but a red spot on the skin...the chemical melts rapidly and spreads throughout the body, victim dead in short while.....do a search, this was apparently around in the early/mid 70's the flick is in b&w and shows the congressional testimony by CIA operatives.....:issues:

And yes, I'm seriously suggesting, there are a number of highly suspicious deaths in the Clintons past, that have greatly benefited or protected the Clintons political aspirations.

The poison dart is about size of a pin, and so it melts in the body, releasing the poison that soon enough kills the heart...and supposedly it is not traceable in a autopsy......see the links....I never heard of such a thing, so have lost contact with my CIA friend for some 30 years now, not that it was his division anyway, Gordon was head of OSWR.....Office of Strategic Weapons Research meaning tracking the nuclear warheads of our enemies.....USSR/China in them daze....I used to see that wall about once a month or so, delivering papers for the company to him, the one with the stars, and the really NICE floor with the eagle on it.....do a search, first time I saw that I was just flatfooted/dumbfounded had NO idea it existed..... for decades the exit off the Geo. Wash Parkway (no trucks allowed) was unmarked, it was the interchange for CIA/Langley but then Karter in his infinite stupidity ordered the exit marked, so the signs went up CIA and the arrow to the ramp.....many years later the signs came down, it was a cause 'celeb in the region for a long time....and some islamic took advantage of it by driving up and killing a bunch of folks in their cars, stuck in a jamb up getting through security gate in the AM......****ing Karter nitwit....dumb as box of rox.....this was before iran screw ups, and not long after the attack came along.....
