What possible reason would you have to plead with the repo guy when car is being towed, will the driver actually stop and say "you're right, here's your car back". Moral of the story is PAY YOUR BILLS.

Someone tried to steal my Corvette in a mall parking lot by coming up behind me and holding what they claimed to be a gun to my neck. I couldn't get them the keys fast enough.

I'm not getting hurt over ANY car.

I have decided long ago it's in my best interests to give my car up without a fight.
If I wake up one morning and it's gone- I'll get a day off work while I wait for the cops and the insurance.
If I get carjacked, I'll give him the keys, (and ask him if I can get some stuff out of it, and in exchange, 'll give him a few hours head start before I call 911.)
If it's a repo- I should have paid my bills.
if it's a repo because the bank made an error- then I don't plan to make any more payments anyway.


BTW, which mall? (knowing full well it wa probably Mall of the Mainland)

Problem with that is there's a good possibility they will just kill you anyway because you can ID them. No respect for life with today's a-hole lowlife. :stickemup:

but if someone is dumb enough to carjack a dude for a 19-mpg pickup, with gas prices the way they are, he's probably not smart enough to figure that out.

yep. every situation is different, but if they allow me the chance to get to my armament I will gladly terminate them from the human race if I can. what do you have to lose?
