I understand why some folks troll. Its a great thing to watch people get angry over nothing.
As i said in UD's thread I have a forum that hates my family due to multiple different reasons, one is that ol uncle has a metric shiton of land.
and when threads come up like this one. SIAP - Largest contiguous ranch in United States is sold | TigerDroppings.com (http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/display.aspx?p=61849129&sp=61852848&s=2#61852848)

Its just too easy to get the masses all aggravated

I do not see the fun in making people upset for no reason. Obviously, that puts me in the minority on the Internet.

No, it doesn't. We just can't be heard over the bullshit caused by folks that take pleasure in something like trolling. Respect and civility have no place in modern society it seems, and there's even less accountability in the internet.

Trolling is one of the most annoying aspects of the internet and I've had to develop quite the filter because of it. The advice "don't feed the troll" works surprisingly well.

It hurts just trying to read that crappy forum layout.

I do not see the fun in making people upset for no reason. Obviously, that puts me in the minority on the Internet. :shrug:Well this is true. I guess years and years of getting beat down its fun to finally have an upper hand on people that I dont care about.

And oh, Kerrmudgeon has a a hot tub with a bear in it..... Forgot to ask too, you catch any notable fish the other day???? Caught seven 1-2 lb fish in ice chest cove and missed 4 other unknown fish. One of which felt pretty good. NOthing other than a cool video of my bullet run.

Literally hitler to those people

It does seem that the anonymous nature of Internet forums tends to bring out the worst in some kinds of people.

Not sure if joking comes under trolling or not... and wont come right out and tell someone who is posting pics of their dog that it looks delicious..

The cool thing is here, there are several of us that know each other personally. This is where I come to kill a few brain cells and get a laugh or two. While yes, the internet is anonymous, think about how many people you have either talked to several times, and or hung out with. That's why this place is great...:cert:

Getting a catchy song stuck in someones head without telling them what it is or the rest of the lyrics is an innocent but solid troll.

Probably best you didn't post a video then... :D

The thing I find interesting is that trolling is a fishing term, having nothing to do with Tolkien-esque monsters that live under bridges.
You throw bait out and let it drag, waiting for something to hit it.
The internet has morphed a verb into a noun.
