She just received a written offer for $21,000/year for 4 years. Drops out of state from $43k to $22k (all in, including housing) per year. They want her pretty badly.
Now G's head is spinning. Just when you thought it was a 2 horse race....
Guess we need to schedule a trip out to College Station here real soon.

Wow Craig that is amazing. Sure hope to see some real dollars from the other two ... but great to have something concrete that good in front of her.

Nice! They host some really cool SQ audio competitions locally too. :D
At least, they used to.
Really nice to see the offers come in and increase her number of opportunities. :cert:

Best wishes to Gwiz, no matter what she decides.

My daughter is still 5 years from being in the same boat your daughter is.
As a lifelong Longhorn, and an alumni coming up on 20 years, I'm facing the serious possibility of preferring to send my daughter to A&M over Texas because of the far left turn Texas has been on for the last two decades.
:banghead:
Continued good luck with the prospects for your daughter. I hope mine ends up deserving even half of what yours does.

As a Fl transplant, I didn't know much about the TX v A&M rivalry until I got here. I can say A&M and it's grads have earned a significant amount of respect from me. I'm interviewing an A&M grad next week for my open position, and I have to say I'm pretty excited about their chances.

I hope it's not in business because the ones they send to Nashville are idiots.
