Its just not there anymore..tried to log in today and it wont even load the page..not even a database error.. :confused5: :bilmem:

I can't get on CF or LS1tech at all right now. I guess they went out of business when Gary started The Vette Barn. :hurray:

Yeah, it's more annoying than being b&, although being able to send/receive PMs is nice. By the time your post actually shows up upon approval from an admin/mod , it's often buried pages behind (since it goes in the thread at the original time you posted it). So nobody really even sees it anyway. Pointless.

On band forum, I heard that IB who owns v/bull is forcing users to kick in extra bux for some upgrades software ****....

MY question is why use their software at ALL, ??? can't be all that complicated to do something else these daze....12 years ago, surely...TODAY??

There are a lot of forum packages out there but VB has a big installed base and migrating the user data to a new platform would be a major pain and in the case of something the size of CF probably damned expensive.

There are some nice, even freeware, php boards out there. No where near the feature set as VB but cheap is good with no ad support.

VBF is running on vBulletin 3.8.4. We don't have any plans to upgrade to 4.0 at this time. If anyone does upgrade to 4.0 a lot of the upgrades/hacks that have been done on someone's site would have to be upgraded/changed also.
