Does the Government ever listen to what the public wants? They listen to whomever or whatever is giving them the biggest campaign contributions....

The primary role of the government is to defend the borders and it can't even do that right.

Better question - is there any one thing the government does run well? Maybe the Park Service?

I could not have stated it any better, I have the same poll going on at the CF in the OT/Polticis section and running close to these early numbers:beer:

It's a cute and somewhat noble theory but totally ludicrous in the fact that with the level of corruption and mismanagement in the government it will most likely only help those who don't need it (financially) and leave the rest of us holding the bag and standing in line with the non english speaking illegals for sub standard care.
