LOUISVILLE, KY – There is a happy ending to a robbery that happened more than 20 years ago.

In 1978, Pam Blandford graduated from Bullitt Central High School. In her yearbook, Blandford wrote one of the best moments in school was when she received her senior ring. The ring was stolen from her home in 1990.

16 years later, the ring was found lying on the side of the road. Thomas Townsend discovered it while walking on Dixie Highway.

More than 20 years later, the ring is back with Blandford. It was returned to her by Townsend with the help of officials from the Bullitt County Schools.

Good story. I wish someone would return my class ring that was stolen about 30-years ago.

I can't help but comment, my grade skool and colledge were taught by communists, and so I had NO resepekt for much of anything they said....

so could care less about any 'ring' they had to offer....

truth be told....

my first wife took mine & sold it for scrap gold.

Sold my frat pin, watches, one of which was a Seamaster Chronometer along with tie clips and tacks, and cufflinks back in '80.....

melted down as scrap metal....
