South Dakota...$751 per person per year !!! :willy:

I am assuming this is Powerball because the graphic does not show anything for the states that don't participate

I suck at gambling. Probably average $20 yearly. Guess I need to step up my game, big time.:willy:

50 % of all spending on the lottery are done by the poorest people. Most people who are habitually poor make bad decisions regularly. From having kids they can't afford, under educated and with poor life and work ethics they keep digging themselves deeper into poverty and buying a lottery ticket gives them false open and some entertainment.

One with PowerPlay ( $3 ) and two regular plays ( $2 + $2 )

So what is PowerPlay exactly? I am a lottery newbie.

It's the multiplier that pays 2 to 5 times the value of the regular payout with the exception of the grand prize ( and possibly the matching 5 of 5 without the powerball )

If the power play number is 3, the payout for matching the powerball only, which is $4 would be $12

I will never win the lottery probably since have not bought any tickets..

One time I did buy a lottery ticket in Singapore for a dollar, and I left it with a friend and was told it lost later, but how do I know.. maybe I won?? :island14:

In the last 3 drawings, I think I'm like 10 bux in. Over the last year, I probably spent $20-30 total. I hope whoever won has the good sense to be wise about it.

AT the behest of my wife, I spent 22 bucks yesterday. Take a wild ass guess at how much I won.

I still have the same two bucks I had last week. Maybe I will go blow it on a soda and a small candy bar.
