I got this recipe from chef ( over "there" ) a few years ago and it's way too good not to share. These are the best pancakes I've ever had

2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs, NOT beaten
1 tablespoon melted butter
1-1/4 cups unbleached flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Stir together the buttermilk, eggs and butter.

Sift together the remaining ingredients.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients and whisk GENTLY until smooth

Cook.

Hope you enjoy chef's buttermilk pancake recipe.

Hmm. Wonder what would happen if one added a little vanilla extract or malt?

It's extremely easy to make and once you have these, you'll never eat box pancakes again.

It would taste a little difference

Go for it, sounds good
