They actually used a BMW X5 diesel as the comparison when testing the Audis. The X5d passed every test :)

I agree. The X5M was fun but I could see how BMW has changed when it comes to repairs and service. Seeing as the M series is low volume, BMW treated it much different than the regular line of vehicles.
BMW has become way overpriced for the vehicle you get.
