I don't have much family, and my friends and I generally don't exchange presents. I bought a roll of silver dollars to give out to the kids, though, and I'll probably go to the bank tomorrow to get some fresh clean bills to stuff in the envelopes along with the American Eagles. Mom got a new 5 piece cordless phone set that has 1 button call block, so she can block the telemarketers that call relentlessly.

Am I phoning it in?

Great. A coin I can't spend, or eat...

You are not 'Phoning it in". The Christmas cash windfall is an integral part of any kid's formative years.

I won't "officially" be done until the day after New Years. Mom and my step dad want to go see Star Wars at the Imax. So we are going that Saturday to dinner, then the movie. On me. They are both near 80 years old and don't "need" a dang thing. Surprised the crap out of me when they said they wanted to go. :seasix: :cert:

I am done, been done for a few days now. I am lucky though, I only had to shop for my wife. She does all the other shopping for the family.

I gave more coin to the kids in the Philippians than I did my own child. I hope they enjoy it. :yesnod:

Wife got $60 worth of clothing, she got me nothing. Life is great. :hurray:

All those kids must be quite old by now.

Bill: what did you get for Fuzzball? A bag of nip?

Fuzz got nothing. Fuzz already has a big jar of catnip, she has a bunch of balls with little bells in them, a big scratching post (one owner, never been used), several fishing rod inspired toys, etc. She had a "wave" scratching thing that she never used unless she saw my Mom's cat using it.

In summary, she really doesn't play with any of it.

In actuality, Fuzz probably should get a lump of coal, after surveying the tragedy that is the side of my love seat.

They will :yesnod:

Have already gave a few toys away, but the Christmas party starts tomorrow.

We had a big dinner here tonight for a lot of friends, My Wife, Onik and Tata's wife cooked up buckets full of spaghetti for tonight and tomorrow so they wont have to cook much and can just warm it back up tomorrow.

Some of the kids got toys, the men all got drunk...

I drank last night knowing I can't tonight.. as Santa needs to be up early tomorrow to get everything ready.

It might be a few days before I get pics posted as there is a disco here tomorrow night also, and plan to go to the other village on the 26th.

All is quiet here right now as everyone has gone to the church tonight.

Taking your folks to see a movie is a neat Christmas gift I think.. :seasix:
