You want to argue with the dog about that?

We're gonna need a bigger shovel.

I have heard of them but never seen one in person. Some of these dogs are better left undiscovered and only in the hands of people capable of handling them.

The only dog I would consider for protection is a GSD. Having worked alongside them in dog training, they really are versatile in terms of having an on/off switch that I could trust them to be a family pet and protector.

What are the differences between GSD and Malinois?

You know, Spence, when you start calculating the dog food bill, it might be cheaper in the long run to just buy new stuff every time you get robbed.

What are the differences between GSD and Malinois?

Both breeds are Herding Dogs, both do Police work. As a matter of fact you're seeing a lot more Mals in police work because you just can't wear them out. They're also quicker.

The GSD will shed a lot more than the Mal.

Mal's are also built much differently, they tend to be more square in outline. Some say the GSD is harder to train, they can be a bit more stubborn.

In the end these two breeds are very similar, although the GSD is far more popular.

I'd be more worried that thing would try to mate with the bear than hunt it! :wow::willy:

As an owner / care taker of a 155 lb Greater Swiss Mountain dog, quality food doesn't leave big "land mines". Less filler, less poop :seasix:

Here's Levi last year when he only weighed about 135/140 lbs

Since Levi has full run of the house and is on guard duty while we work, sheets save the furniture :yesnod:
