The lovely and talented Mrs. Thomas is considering this 2015 Camaro 2SS. She's currently driving a 2010 LS which is the base model. This would be a large step up. 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque with a six-speed manual. We drove it this afternoon, it's plenty quick. :yesnod:

I don't care for the black wrap on the hood -she likes it- but it's easily removed. If it were mine I'd go with red or orange stripes. When I showed her some photo's of the strips she thinks she may like that better.

I like it!

First off, I dig white vehicles. Easy to keep clean, and they hide dirt well surprisingly.

I like the wheels, lots of folks going with black wheels and it's getting played out IMO. Although they do look good on a white vehicle. Also, I kinda like the hood too. Nice contrast with the rest of the car. I prefer the sleeper look, but it works there.

They seriously improved the rear end look on that car, I'm liking them now.

It may be a trick of the light but I swear the right front fender and door on that car are a different color than the rest of the body. That impression remains true through all of the camera angles shown. If this is possibly "the one" look closely from several angles and let us know if I am correct.

Lighting angles. Car is white all over. How they screwed up the lighting on the hood to make it look like that is beyond me.

Look at the rocker panel. It is on the same plane as the door bottom and is not the same shade. I smell damage of some sort in this car's past.

I went back twice to verify there were no paint issues. She traded her 2010 Camaro LS off as part of the transaction. Did we get a good deal? Hell, I don't know. We did our research on the value of hers and the new one. We had our number and eventually got there.

It's a hell of a car I'll say that.

I'm negotiating now with my local dealer on a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang for my wife to replace her '09 Honda Civic. This will be a surprise Christmas gift! She's going from 140HP 4-banger to a turbo 4-banger with 310HP. This is gonna be fun.... :rofl:

She's firmly in the Camaro camp I'm afraid. I like the Mustang too and it's probably a hell of a lot easier to see out of. But I'm with her. The Camaro is a better looking ride IMHO. :shrug:

The rear 1/4 panels often look to be different than doors on C5 Camaros. It's the way light bounces, and just the way it is usually.
