My daughter graduated from TCU in May, and...yes...I FINALLY got around to ordering some prints. They really did come out very nice, so I thought I'd share them. She's now working as an elementary school teacher...her profession of choice...and loving every minute. One down, one to go :seasix:
(And yes...those are TCU colors and designs on her fingernails  )

I am indeed. Years ago, I set goals for my children and at the same time myself. I wanted to be the first in my family to graduate college and I pretty much insisted that both my kids finish college. I also made it a little harder on my son because I added becoming an Eagle Scout to his list. So far, everyone has followed through. Michelle is done with college and in her field, I finished my degree a few years ago, Steven became an Eagle and will graduate next year.
It's good to set goals and expectations. :seasix:

Good on you Mike. Hopefully, your kids will carry on the tradition of setting goals. :seasix:
My father died when I was 20 years old. But he instilled in me the will to meet my goals. He told me he wanted me to get a degree. (He never got his) At 23, I got my first one in mechanical engineering. At 27 I got my EE degree. At 35 I got my IE degree. All this was because of my fathers prodding (setting goals) me to do the best I could at what, I wanted to do.

Well done IC! :cert:
We hear a lot of 'kids these days' laments but from what I see? That's a crock.

IC, I think she's too pretty to be your daughter!:seasix: That said, congrats to her. A career that is meaningful and something you like doing is a great thing.:cert:
