Slowly making progress. Things are starting to look up with work - lots of opportunity. Just need to keep my energy up. Big hole to dig out of, but at least I'm digging. :shots:

Going to do the jambs etc; assemble then paint or paint the components then assemble?

Not yet anyway... I really hope I can hang on to it.

Jambs are already done - we did them first (plus doors and all components). Then masked off the finished jambs and shot the primer. Now tons of wet sanding.

Looks so shiny to be just primer..

I was tempted to ask.. but didn't want to sound stupid..

I was actually wondering of that was the final seal coat before the paint.. or if you were going white.

What will be your color choice Pete?

Will the doors be mounted for the final spray?

Still wet in those shots. It dried flat. But it's nice to see it wet - it gives you a good sense of what the body work looks like. It looks damn good.

We will mount the doors, hood and deck for spraying color and clear. Color is Galaxy Metallic Silver.

Original color was blue but I painted it silver 13 years ago. With a black interior I think it is a classic combination. :cert:

Looks great! I love silver on the C2s. All the curves cast shadows on silver and it really compliments the car. A silver on red split window and a black on red 67 vert are the best looking cars ever made IMO.:seasix:

If you're gonna paint it back to silver you better plan on keeping it.

If wanted it red... :slap:
