As a person who has heard that sound in dense fog in the shipping lanes on open water.....it would give me a fecking heart attack to hear that outside my house! :willy:

Once I was driving around the point on the Monterey peninsula in a convertible with the top down and, just as I got in front of the fog horn, it let off a blast no more than 50 feet away. Literally drove me down into the seat... :eek: Sounded just like that.:D
