View Full Version : Snow is coming Friday
Haven't mounted the thrower onto the garden tractor yet. How much longer can I procrastinate?
6 foot drifts at the new home site. Probably 18-20 inches. Glad it wasn't yet mine to plow:D

How do you like shoveling? :D
I have two 1968 Cub Cadet 125's. One is for mowing and summer work and the other has the 42" snow thrower ( single stage ) on it.
I started it on Sunday so it's ready to go :hurray:

70F tonight here, we had a thunder storm. Turned on the A/C briefly upstairs to dehumidify.

I'd wait a while. It'll be gone by April.

Heck just wait till its freezing cold out there, that's always when they are the most fun to work on. :Jeff '79:
I heated with a wood stove a few winters when I lived in southern Ohio years ago.
Do you think just once I would have stocked up a winter supply of firewood when the weather was nice? :island14:
Oh nooooooooo.. way.
I just loved cutting wood in the snow with my fingers freezing wearing sopping wet gloves while digging the wood out of the snow and freezing my ass off.

That's how we did it.. :yesnod:
Just let it pack down into nice tracks, and by spring and all the snow is gone, all that is left is the ice from where you packed snow down all winter with your tires.
We had a long gravel driveway and didn't clear it off all winter one year but had a 4w-drive
The next winter I had a D3 Cat Bulldozer so would knock it down every once in awhile.
I have a 10:38 tee time. I hope I can get in 18 before it starts.
