Last May, it was announced that My Big Fat Greek Wedding stars Nia Vardalos and John Corbett will reprise their roles as Toula and Ian in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. We haven't heard anything about the sequel since then, but today, Universal Pictures released the first trailer and photos, while announcing the sequel will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
The original classic took in over $241 million during its domestic theatrical run, and still reigns as the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time at the box office. Trailer:

They divorced and are going to get married again? I can tell you that would be a bad idea. Bad. Very bad.

No, their daughter is getting married. I can't believe the movie parents of Nia and John are even still alive.

Did you post the trailer without watching it first?
I saw the first one and didn't really care for it. I won't see part 2 until it gets to Netflix or Encore, if at all.

Just shows there is no creative thinking or writing in the movie industry. Just rehashing the same old thing.

We'll watch it when it hits Netflix; we enjoyed the first one.
