The last week

Have to be outta here by this Sunday the 8th. Did 3 loads of boxes yesterday and 4 today. Staying outa work on Thursday and Friday to move the furniture and set things up at the rental. The place has a ton of potential but has gone to hell because of neglect. I've known the house since I was a kid and will be less that a mile from my parents home. We signed a 5 year lease but can break it anytime. I sure as hell don't want to do this again. We have been here 32 years last week. New chapter I guess. :(

I'll bet you threw out a LOT of stuff you accumulated over those years huh? Sometimes I think it would be good for everyone to have to move once in a while, just to get rid of all that crap. I know here it's going to be a nightmare after almost 60 years! :willy:

Yup, and as sad as it seems sometimes watching the old door close behind you on what was once a comfortable and normal thing in your life..

Sometimes the new door that is opening leads to bigger and better things in time.

Hard to believe at the time when it happens I know, but quite often turns out that way. :yesnod:


There have been quite a few crossroads I have come to over time, and proved out to be true over the long run.
