October 21, 2015 marks the day that Doc Brown and Marty traveled ahead in time. Theaters will show the Back to the Future Trilogy that day. What are the chances that there may be a Back to the Future 4...and would you be in favor of it?
Christopher Lloyd says this:
"I would love to do Doc again, no question. It's tough to come up with an idea that contains the excitement of the original three. So it would be a real challenge for the writers to come up with an original Back to the Future story that has the same passion and intensity and excitement as the other three. But it could be done, you never know."
Yesterday, Toyota debuted a new Back to the Future-themed ad where Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox are reminiscing about all of the predictions from the year 2015, as seen in Back to the Future Part II, that actually came true. The car manufacturer will release the full video on October 21.
When asked if he thinks Michael J. Fox would also come back for Back to the Future 4, Lloyd had this to say:
"I think regardless of the Parkinson's, he'd probably jump on the role and he'd be great. I can't see doing another sequel without him. I would certainly want Bob Zemeckis directing it, Bob Gale writing it and the other principals being involved. (The DeLorean) was such a perfect choice for the film. It looked so speedy and futuristic."
The first Back to the Future was released on July 3, 1985. Lloyd is now 77, and Fox is 54.

Is it, "Leave Back to the Future as the perfect trilogy it is now, and don't mess it up with any prequels, squels, spin-offs or whatever."
Or,
"I'd like to see a continuation of this story."?
