Big Foot is a Barley Wine style seasonal from Sierra Nevada. It's an acquired taste, I guess, but my all time favorite. It's only available for a few weeks starting in February. Grab some while it's available if you enjoy strong hoppy ales.

I plan to bring a six pack to the beer exchange at ICs in May... If I can keep from drinking it in the meantime.

...... a Barley Wine style....... It's an acquired taste

The nasty taste of a barley wine style beer won't allow me the opportunity to acquire the taste :puke:

Wish that was the case for me. Big Foot is rated the worst beer of all in terms of calories... don't remember how many by more than a six of Miller Lite I'm guessing.

About time for another!

Not a huge fan of barley wines, but I do like Sierra Nevada Wet hop Harvest ales. They are damn good for the price.

The big foot is ok for one or two. If you want a barley wine that you can drink till the day you die try and find Moylan's barley wine.

I haven't seen that one here but will watch for it. Sierra is awfully good for such a large company.

I have a couple Tropedo IPA left too. Down to one Big Foot.

I checked out Moylan's on the web... Don't think it's available here, but will be watching for it. Big Foot is 9.6% this year... two will do!

I've also been checking out Victory Brewing's products. They are out of PA and have a great IPA and Stout. Also a Belgium style that is good even though I don't care from most Belgium's.

Checked out some Dogfish Head Palo Santo the other day. 12%... I'll save that for another thead.
