Cliffs: Z06 was broken from the get-go, not making boost.

WTF, Chevy...

Here's the "Hot" Lap...

that's sad the Corvette was a DNF.

But, why not give a chance for GM to correct the problem? Both MT and C&D were known to allow Hennessey cars to be remedied after breaking down numerous times (due to over-boosting, done to solely win the competitive event).

And "this" my friends is why I'm far from pulling the trigger on a C7 Z. :yesnod:

Not sure when this was shot....

But I am not sure why they didn't include the Ford Mustang Shelby 350. They also left out the new 2015 Subaru WRX.

Some nice cars...

They would have to add the Z/28 in that case... which I would buy WAY before I bought a new Z06.

I have never in my life been more disappointed in a car than this Z06. They made a $100k+ "track car" that you can't put on a track. But hey, at least they were smart enough to add that cool clear spoiler so you can see people coming up behind you on your cool down lap, you know, the 1 immediately following the out lap.

The guys at Porsche must be laughing their asses off.

Sure is a lot of teething problems with it with the engine failures, and turbo problems, and some overheating. They should have waited another year before bringing it out for sale, to get all the bugs out. :yesnod:

They bolted a big blower on top of a "track car" engine. They could have waited 5 years... wouldn't have mattered.

They screwed the pooch the day they decided to go for the magazine horsepower number over real world performance.

It needed a naturally aspirated, quick revving, 500hp engine. 550 if you wanted to give it a little extra.

500 hp...

LESS THAN 500 hp...

Not cheap... but then again it actually does what it's supposed to do rather than being $100k garage art, so there's that.

The guys that designed that import are laughing their butts off at our homegrown failure of a car.

...and they're drinking better beer while they do it.

So Chevy goes to a magazine shootout with the goal of being the winner. They take one car. Really? You're a company with the resources of a multi-national, billion dollar over many times, and you take one car. Amateurs take one car.

Dumbasses.

Me too...

...oh, and the $100K+ that I don't have.
