The coolest car classified ad, from anywhere online (eBay, Craigslist, dealer, etc) within the following parameters...
$25,000 or Less
No Black, Red, or Yellow cars
Practicality is NOT a consideration. (I drive a dunebuggy now)
Bring the cool, the funny, the bizzare, and if I pick it, you win a Million Barn Bucks.
Entries should be made in this thread, and the entry window closes at 6pm EDT 9/12/15. Please include a link and a preview picture, ads must show price.
Good luck, hope you win!

Just because you can...doesn't mean you should...
...but in this case, that's a "should".

True. Unfortunately, to bring it to a proper point is going to exceed your budget, a tad. 125,000 GBP , or so.

I'm very up on the Mk.1's actually, not so much the Mk.2's... I've wanted a MK.1 Mexico real bad for many years and I lament that we Americans never got to sample those little wonders. If we had "Ford Escort" would be spoken with reverence as it should be...
I'm not surprised an ex-works MK.2 RS1800 is 6-figures, the vintage rally Fords are taking off these days.... I remember when you could grab a minty RS200 Evolution for $250,000... try that today and you're looking for restoration candidates...
Part of that is the fact that overseas they still race them, and for reals racing too, not that "historic racing" gentlemanly shit either... and that shows right there just how amazing these cars are, with 50 year racing histories on some of them.
I'm a bowtie guy at heart, right up until you're talking rally cars, and then it's all FOMOCO, mofo.
