I bought some Lucchese boots this afternoon. When I came home I checked out their website and came across this,,,,,,

Holy.... they better meet you at the door before a ride and only after making you breakfast in bed and providing sexual favors, for that money.

Just seemed appropriate for the thread:

I forget what Burt Reynolds movie it was, but he was walking around in his underwear with his boots on, and said he likes to fill them with Vaseline because it felt good squishing between his toes..
Lemme know if that's true K? :island14:
Thanks in advance..
:cert:
On a serious note, twice I treated myself to Lucchese ostrich boots, and twice I ruined them on (or rather, off) my bike. My current boots are more reasonably priced Justins.

That's what I bought as a matter of fact. Ostrich. Not for my bike though, I just wear my work boots on them.
I actually have the line codes (breakdown of numbers) of Lucchese somewhere around here. All Lucchese are NOT created equal. :seasix:

No reason to think a $5000.00 pair of boots is constructed like a $200.00 pair I guess.

Now I'm waiting for the "I'm moving to Texas thread" :D WTF  Cowboy boots are cool as hell but you have to be in the right part of the country. I really love them but if I wore them here in L.A. everyone would think I was from west hollywood. :sissy: I think Minnesota is cool for those :yesnod: Not many fruits up there.

I pretty much live in Red Wing 'Pecos'slip on's. When they start getting kinda shitty looking I turn them into work boots and get a new pair. I had some Tony Lama Snakeskin several years ago but they turned all yellow and started to crack.

Custom made in Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco FTW.
I've had them outline my feet when I got there and had custom made Boa and Alligator boots made for less than $200.00. That's with genuine leather soles and they were comfortable as all gidee-up. My brother has ostrich and armidillo, which are pretty cool and durable.
Damn I'm tall with boots on. :D

Since I am partial to heels with red soles, I will refrain from criticizing. ;)
