LOUIS • A man from East St. Louis who came to St. Louis to buy guns was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the West End neighborhood.
Devion Falls, 22, was shot in the head and torso at about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of Suburban Avenue.
Police say Falls went to the address to buy weapons and was shot by two men he was meeting to buy the guns.
One of the two men who shot Falls is an 18-year-old man. Police don't have any information about the second suspect.
Falls had been with two men, ages 18 and 19, and a 22-year-old woman. They were uninjured. They drove Falls to a hospital, where he died.
He lived in the 400 block of North Sixth Street in East St. Louis.
Falls' death was at least the 139th homicide of the year in St. Louis. By this time last year, the city had 95 homicides.

FLORISSANT • A St. Louis teenager was charged Tuesday with shooting three men at an apartment complex in Florissant on Monday afternoon.
Terrique I. Thompson, 17, of the 4100 block of Nebraska Avenue, was charged with three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.
The three men were shot at the Waterford Square apartments in the 3000 block of Country Green Court at about 3:30 p.m. The shooting victims were treated at a hospital for their injuries. Their conditions were not available.
Thompson was being held in lieu of a $200,000 cash-only bail.

The incident happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Montana Street, near Marquette Park in the Dutchtown neighborhood.
Police say a 64-year-old man was upset that someone had parked a vehicle blocking the alley behind his home.
He got into a dispute with a man in his mid 20s, police said. That man pulled a gun and fired several shots at the resident, hitting him in both legs. The gunman then fled.
The victim was in critical but stable condition at a hospital, police said Wednesday. His name has not been released.
The suspect is described as a black man, 26 or 27 years old, about 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds. He has a medium build, dark complexion and wore his hair in short dreadlocks. He has one gold tooth and wore a black t-shirt with white lettering.
