Airbagged Trailers Introduction Video - YouTube
My father and I had a similar idea about 5 years ago. Guess we should have started working it.

Of course, you can't get in or out of the car while on the trailer plus now you have no incline for a winch.
Fail.

Beat me to it. I was going to say I love the idea but you have to crawl out the window.
I used to use a trailer that had fold down fenders that gave just enough room to open and close the door. VERY helpful.
In terms of winch, the trailer is low enough to push the car right onto with 1 other guy. No need for a winch I'd think.

The trailer is controlled by a remote (wireless) to lower and raise. So don't have to worry about getting in and out of the car

The reason you get a track trailer is there may be times when you can't push your car. :leaving: Always have a winch.

:iagree:....what's really needed is one that raises so you can get in and out of the car, then lowered to ride height. :yesnod:
Drive on low, raise to door open height with remote, get out/in, lower to ride height.......PERFECT! :seasix:
I've had to crawl out/in a window on more than one occasion. :toetap:

More importantly,

the amount of trailer one can buy with 13+ grand. That's 44/48ft gooseneck territory. Here's a 40ft with living quarters for 12! RacingJunk (http://www.racingjunk.com/Used-Trailers/182552166/2005-Haulmark-40-with-Weekend-Package.html)

That seems like a fairly involved trailer for being open.
I have a hydraulic tilt bed and I have the same issue with the door. I have to drive the car up on a pair of 2x10's on one side and it still barely opens.

Yes but if you scroll to the 1:00 mark on the vid; even with the trailer up, you aren't getting those doors open but a crack. That driver better be a thin mofo.

Montrose make a trailer that deals with door opening.
