What are ya usually drinking?Right now, Red Stripe. (one of my faves).

I enjoy the seasonal beers and microbrews a lot, but usually revert back to this as a mainstay.

I'm not picky though, I'll drink just about any beer without complaint.

Maybe have a couple drinks every few months if I go out with the wife and am in the mood but I always regret it. Drinking gives me a headache and makes me feel like crap. I do miss it though and wish I still drank.

I voted 'socially'. Left to my own devices I might have the occasional beer or two while working around the house on weekends or on Saturday night, but I don't drink often.

If I go out with friends I might tie one on if they are too and the circumstances are right, but if not, I'll just drink enough to stay on the right side of sober.

Then there is Cruise In, where I make up for my sobriety through the past year. :shots: :drunk:

I spit my beer while reading the AA choice.

I will say that my drinking days (slowed down) have changed some since I've reached my 30's.

I enjoy my Saturdays. Sundays...well...I enjoy watching some racing and eating chinesse food...while hungover.

Since I had a kid I calmed way down on the drinking. I used to drink all the time when I lived the single life :D

Haven't had a drink in 10 years since my back surgery. I was on some heavy drugs and when it said in big bold letters, do on take with alcohol, well I just haven't had the urge for a drink. Makes my wife happy have a designated driver all the time.

I had a huge drinking problem when I was in my 20's and 30's - but quit just in the knick of time before I destroyed myself. Nothing for 8 years and then started back to the insanity. That lasted for about a year until I came to my senses again. Now I drink socially and can stop once I start to feel the buzz coming on. Very seldom do I allow myself to go a little past the buzz stage and that's only under the right circumstances and in the right environment. There's nothing uglier and more disgusting than a stupid - drunk woman, IMO, and I refuse to be that way.

All you church going Catholics who say they don't drink, stop fess up...I know for a fact there is drinking going on during each mass. :nono::lolsmile:

I used to drink on the weekends all the time, but since my daughter arrived I'll have a few here and there, but nothing like it used to be.

I like to have a beer with certain meals. I drink a lot of microbrew, so I'm not generally drinking to get drunk. About once every 3 months, I'll go on a bender, and then promise myself I won't do it again.

They get really ****y when you aren't paying attention at the AA meeting.

Why is there no "All of the above" option?

When I die, I'm donating my liver to the Kingsford Charcoal Company.

I drink a a couple of fifths a week. While I consider that "functional alcoholic" level, I have but one observation: all of you who think that lving to grow old is a good idea -- you're wrong. 70% of you will end up in a home in diapers with that kid who made your Big Mac today as your caregiver. Good f'ing luck. In 75 years everyone posting today will be dead and the length of your life won't matter. What will matter is that you were happy and while you were here.

Cheers!

I used to drink on weekends, then started to pick up some. Being 25 and having stopped going to the gym, started to gain a little weight. So cut out the booze (except for Halloween and special occasions) and soda, and trying to drop the 10 lbs by going to the gym nightly and eating better before it becomes permanent! Figure I might as well nip it in the butt before I turn into all you guys

When I'm back in shape I'm sure it will pick up again. I've realized going out to bars as the DD everytime starts to become a tid bit BORING!

None for the last 7 or 8 years ( stopped counting after 5th anniversary).

But I did stay at about 20 Holiday Inn Express properties in 2009.

And I did drink enough for two or three of us by my 45th birthday. :yesnod:
