No fair, that is cheating using a lift. You need to do it on the ground with a full tank of gas.

I will cheat like this all the time. 8 bolts and 4 connectors and it was in the air. Made changing the pump very easy. Sure beats wrestling a 28 gallon tank to the ground and then trying to balance it to re-connect the straps.

:seasix: I use my MaxJax all the time, one of the best tools I have. Good job

My Bud simply cut an access door in his bed floor. Piano hinge and fabricated slide lock. In 325000 miles he has replaced the pump 3 times... takes him less than an hour.

:iagree:
I had to do that same thing on my Yukon. The worst part was wrestling the tank back in place.
The gas gauge in my '97 Sonoma has been dead for years. I just reset the trip odometer every time I fill up, and make sure I refill when it hits 200 miles, which is about four times a year.

Very
Imagine how much the dealership would charge for that. :willy:

If I tried to lift the box off my truck it would crumble into a pile of rust. :(
Damn you, salt and :canada: winters. :toetap:
What year is that? .....very clean looking truck from that pic.

99. I searched for over a year for a nice truck. Very hard to find a RCSB 5.3 that hasn't been trashed.

Great find, but I'd need a four wheel for the winter. you need sunglasses to drive that RED of a pickup!
BTDT, but not with a lift. That's cheating.
Still not a bad job though
