My wife Liz is in the midst of a barn sale as we speak. She killed it yesterday and is killing it today. I can't believe all of the stuff that we are purging from the homestead.
I sold a '70's era Interstate 190 sign that I had garbage picked, for $100.00! :Jeff '79:
Dining Room set - Gone
Vette - Gone
Baby Grand Piano - Gone
Now if I could only sell my Bimmer, a newer to me Audi or Bimmmer is in sight!
I just love the fact that so much stuff is outta here:seasix:

Wow. All we get around here is people that want to haggle over a $1 item. Why I don't do the "sale" thing anymore. It all goes to Goodwill. They even come pick it up. :cert:

Hell, they're even buying the old barn windows that I had tore out and saved. $20 a piece... We'll take it!
I really should be sniping pics of all of the hotties for you guys. It's 87° out and they are sure dressed for it.

Gwill WAS about 5 miles away, so I flopped a few bags of clothing into the vette to donate, and get a receipt.....they moved another ~20 miles south....another abandoned building on the shopping drag.....I turned around and came home....toss the clothing in the dumpster by time it's over with....

Garage sales are fun, I always liked having them and also going to them.

Sometimes I would go to a garage sale and buy everything they had..

Just ask, how much for everything right now???? :island14:

You would be surprised how many were happy to get ride of it all without the hassles.. :yesnod:

Then I would take it all home in my box truck and add it to my own garage sale..

One time I had already bought everything at one, and a woman asked about some glass stuffs, she wanted to know what the least they would take for it was..

Told her $5, and then she said... but it only has $2 on it!!!!.. well that was 3 minutes ago I told her..
