Newser) – An Illinois job applicant either has terrible follow-up skills or terrible texting skills, but either way, he's out of a new gig. Elmhurst police say they took in a report on Aug. 14 from the HR manager of a St. Charles company that alleged one of the candidates for a position with the company (the candidate that actually received the job offer) texted her two nude photos after receiving what cops say was a "conditional offer of employment," the Chicago Tribune reports. The victim says she received the naked pics at home between Aug. 11 and Aug. 13.
How the guy was busted: When he followed up on the job offer, individuals at the company recognized the number he was calling from as that of the sexter, per the paper. When cops contacted him, the applicant "admitted to sending the photographs, explaining they were actually meant for another individual and were sent to the victim in error," the police report notes. Excuses notwithstanding, it doesn't end well for him. He was warned to not make any contact with the HR manager, which leads to the next logical conclusion. "My understanding is they've rescinded the offer of employment," the Elmhurst police chief tells the Tribune. (At least one politician considers nude photos "powerful art.")
