Back in 2004, there was an El Nino, which is supposed to reduce the threat of Florida hurricane landfall.....

My observation is that Danny is following the exact same path as Charley.

Since I've moved here full time my bet is hurricanes will hit at a higher than normal rate.

When my Mom and Stepdad moved to Lithia Fl ( Tampa area ), the realtor said "There hasn't been a hurricane here in 25 years.

Don jokingly replied " It's probably on a 26 year cycle".

It was :willy:

Danny may have fizzled, but Erika is following in his footsteps.

If it hits, and is only a Cat 1 storm, it won't be much of an issue for this coast.

Who's "This coast"?

It will be a nice little warm up storm for us on the East coast. If it hits.
