I thought my Vette was ready so I sold my DD. Turns out it needs some fine tuning before I can drive it. So I was looking for a reliable driver that got good gas mileage.
I bought a 1991 Mercury Capri from the original owner with 95k.
The best part.. 30 miles per gallon with the top down :D

$1100.00 It has a 12 inch or so crack in the back window and the drivers fender has a dent. everything works but the A/C.
I guess i have to Join a Capri forum and ask about an air foil and top. :lol:

Great buy man! I believed in making my boys (we have 3 of them) buy there first car. We gave them $500 each to put towards a car but they got jobs and did the rest on their own. We shopped around for cars in the $1500 range. I would have loved to find something like that.

I was going to buy a 94 Formula Firebird for $2800 With a rebuilt engine. The gas was my deciding factor.
I also need the other 1900 to rebuild the trans in the Vette. :(

probably already is in Canada...ask the Cat how much it is a liter- you will have to do a bit of math with the metric thing, but exchange is on even keel so that will make it easy enough.

$1.01/ Litre. Seeing a litre is almost equal to a US Quart, times it by 4.
Of course we just had a long weekend, so it should drop back to .99 cents, yeah right!

Larry, I know the pacific coast lacks on smog. I think breathing clean air is affecting you. Go to the garage, open the doors, start the Vette and breath there for few seconds. That will bring your O2 levels back to California specs.:D
