Gonna need:

28 Gauge Shotgun Shells | 28 Gauge Shotgun Ammo | 28 Gauge Shells (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/productlist/ammo-shooting/shotgun-shells/28-gauge-shells?d=121&c=97&s=944)

FWIW:

Taurus Raging Judge 28 Gauge Revolver (http://www.gunsholstersandgear.com/taurus-raging-judge-28-gauge-revolver/)

Under US federal law, the gun could be interpreted as either a shotgun or a handgun. Either way, the revolver would not be allowed for sale to the general public.

If the Raging Judge was determined to be a shotgun, the barrel length was well under the 18″ required by law. If the gun was determined to be a handgun, the bore was greater than 0.50″, and therefore prohibited as well.

Technically, it would be possible to have a 0.50″ barrel that would act as a full-length choke for shotshells. While this would meet the bore requirement for a handgun, it would also further illustrate that the gun is more shotgun than pistol. After all, what handgun has a choke?

I've got the smaller cousin to that, "The Judge", .410 or .45 long, excellent varmint weapon. Keep loaded with .410 shot.

I've shot an American derringer chambered for .410 shotgun shells, and it's no picknick. At least that thing would be easier to hold on to. The little derringer ripped a piece of my hand and landed between my legs! And I was holding on to it tight! Yikes! Same thing happened with the .44 mag derringer.

Then they told me about always wearing gloves with those firecrackers.:toetap:

Why?

A doctor somewhere needs a new pool. The broken wrist, nose and other ailments should just about cover it.

Eff that thing.

I have a cheap ass 12ga coach gun and that thing is downright unpleasant to shoot with slugs. That thing would hurt I'll bet.

I have a double barrel 10ga that has double triggers.

It has never been shot.

Bob Ollinger taunted Billy The Kid with a 10ga double. When the Kid was in the Lincoln County jail, Ollinger whipped and beat him...Story is that he also told the Kid that his shotgun was loaded with dimes.

You could only really use it as a concealed weapon.
