View Full Version : What I'm having for dinner...

My stomach has been upset (think diarrhea) for two days, so nothing much appeals to me. I had a French Bread pizza for lunch (sauce, mozzarella cheese, onions, bell peppers, black olives), and it was good. It was a challenge, but I ate all of it.

I can't imagine I'll be hungry by six o'clock, so I'm eating a pound of boiled peanuts for dinner and a dessert of fresh Bing cherries. That should fill me up, but if not I have Ensure.

Can your dinner beat that?

Planning on a bacon sammich. So yes :D

I'd think the peanuts would tear you up worse?

Cherries can be a bit harsh too....

I remember picking cherries and eating almost half of
what I gathered. The glass of milk afterwards resulted in
a porcelain rocketride...

Cheese Manicotti with home made crepes and fresh mozzarella, home maid sauce with tomatoes from the garden. One of my wife's specialties. Her ex was an Italian and she learned Italian cooking from his mother. This dish was family favorite on no meat Fridays, although today's sauce had pepperoni, beef and Italian sausage, since I'm going to hell anyway for being an Atheist.:seasix:

I had some melon. Exciting I know. It wasn't the right kind of melon either.

16 ounce T-bone (rare) at Longhorn. Tossed salad with Blue Cheese dressing, mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Sweet tea. You know; a real meal not some gut bomb sodium laden squitters inducing mismatch. Does your gastroenterologist know you abuse your gut this way?

I really like maid sauce. I would eat it every day if the wife were up to it.

It's not difficult, really. Look up a recipe and go for it. We don't have a set recipe. For us it's kind of like stew or chili. Different every time, just wing it after trying some recipes. If we have one ingredient that's constant, it's small chunks of pepperoni, not found in most recipes.:yesnod:
