Anything of Category 4 or higher require showers. The lesser categories can be dealt with using alternative cleansing methods.
On the way back from lunch yesterday I noticed Art was having a hard time making it up the stairs. As we reached the pinnacle of the staircase Art looked to me and said "You gotta cover for me, I just Sharted". He then wiggled out of the building and drove home for a shower.

I've never done this.

But I've often felt it would be cheaper to throw away undies after one wear then to wash them. :island14:

Baller...

I bet your Mom washed your diapers, or sent them out to be washed.

Think about it... you are from the pre-huggies days :D

Fruit of the Loom tightie whities are about a buck fifty a pair. I bet it costs more than that in water/electric/detergent/softener...to wash & dry them. :island14:

Ok, I know you all are just dying to ask about my Cat 5 shart today..

(sorry no pics)

I've been really sick the past few days, at first it felt like the flue, body sore all over, running a temperature.

And diarrhea, so many trips up and down the stairs going to the bathroom. :(

Earlier this evening my buddy Tata was up here talking about things we are working on, and had just got back from buying more load so we could turn the internet back on.

He was standing in the door and I felt it coming.. first the gas cramps that hurt, and I started to say move out of the way.. as I needed to run down the stairs to go to the CR.

When I knew it was too late..

Pfffffffft....

I knew right away this was going to be a mess, so grabbed my shorts tight so it didn't run down my leg.

I explained real quick to Tata what had just happened, and I could see he was trying not to laugh..

I did ask.. "Please don't tell anyone about this" as I waddeled down the stairs to the bathroom for a cleanup and shower.

I will spare ya'll the details, but now I know what a baby feels like with a full diaper. :leaving:

Let's say I have 20 pairs of underwear. That's probably not even a full load of laundry, and cost $ 30, at your numbers. You really saying that the cost of the water/electric/detergent/softener costs $ 30? I bet you can send them out to be laundered with extra starch way cheaper than that, even if you include the depreciation on the washer and dryer for that load.

This thread stinks..........

Occasionally on the job I've had to endure folks that had traveler's diarrhea (intense sharts), needless to say, the customs inspection was quite quick and a point to the restroom. :D

I kinda felt sorry for the woman that washes our cloths (by hand) even though I had washed them off last night, and no more... noticeable stuffs..

So this morning while the sun was barely coming up, I put them back on and went swimming in the sea... :yesnod:

Good as new.. :datawiz:

Good point.

However...
If the undies were manufactured as throwaways, and the demand was there...

We probably could get the cost down to 25 cents a pair. Or less.

Plus, if they could be made flushable, you could use them to wipe. And save on toilet paper. So there's that. :D
