View Full Version : Lexus LFA
Have never really been in to the Lexus but this thing looks pretty sweet. V10, 552HP, 200mph. sure it's no Ferrari or even a ZR1 but it's pretty cool none the less. Price tag is a little silly at 400K but who am I to judge. Automobile and Motor Trend both have it on the cover for December.

Don't like the styling AT ALL. WAY overpriced and underpowered. Pass.

Renderings of the next-gen Corvette C7, due out in 2011
Neck-deep in a turbulent economy, GM has announced they’re officially suspending further development of the mid-engined C7 Corvette. Initially, plans for the new C7 received the green light from CEO Bob Lutz when early projections revealed a mid-engine mount could enable GM to do what the current Corvette’s front engine and rear transaxle layout cannot: allow for the possibility of cylinder deactivation. Several months into the plan, however, GM discovered that the cost of research and development of the fuel efficient C7 would ultimately exceed any potential CAFE benefits. Still faced with the obstacle of tighter CAFE standards in 2011, although the plans for a new engine mount have been abandoned, GM is still reportedly exploring the possibilities of a V6 C7, or, as it is more commonly known, a Camaro [I mean really, a V6 in a 'Vette? What's the point?

Well those are just chops of what people think it 'might' look like.
By the way, that black Z is a Geiger Corvette not a C7.

Well, the 599 lists for 32x,xxx and usually sells for close to 400k, and is not 70% carbon fibre like the lexus, isn't as reliable as the lexus, and the people that have driven the LFA feel it is a better drivers car than the 599.
Every time lexus has entered a new market virtually everyone says they will fail. They almost always win in the new segment.
By 3 full seconds.
