Mrs Utah did a 14 days of Valentines. Basically gave me presents for the 14 days leading up to the 14th. :hurray:

The last one is coming today.. she ordered me a Coke machine for the garage. With seven Diet coke labels.. :D

Awaiting delivery even as we speak. I'm gonna be missing for a few days and she's going to find me in the garage passed out in the midst of a pile of DC cans..

:hurray:

does the machine have a bill slot, so Mrs. Utah can slowly get some of your $$ in her purse?:rofl:

Actually my 14 year old suggested that they set the price at $1.00 per can, and hide the key from me.

Would be a great way to save money for another Lamborghini. :D

At your pace, you could afford a brand new one in about 9 months. ;)

I can see that follow up thread. I thought a can of diet coke cost $20 in all vending machines.

My daughter likes to say that she conducted personal toxicity experiments using DC while a 3rd yr med student and discovered that you can't pass out from as many as 11/day...because you're too busy peeing and the caffeine has you so wired you couldn't pass out even if you want to.

I personally think she's pulling my leg but...ya never know.....

Am I old enough to buy beer? I'm 38.

I wouldn't even know where to buy it, or what to buy. I'd probably buy some wine cooler variant.. and everyone would laugh at me... :confused5:

First, since you're in Utah, you need to go to the STATE LIQUOR STORE. There are three that I know of in Park City, so surely there are some around your area. The reason you want to buy at the STATE LIQUOR STORE is because they have full-strength beer there, although in a limited selection and bottles only. They don't have wine coolers at the STATE LIQUOR STORE because the people that shop there know why they are shopping there and not at the local grocery store that sells 3.2 beer.

Glad to be of service. Your liver produces alcohol, naturally. It's been consumed for thousands of years and is part of what makes life worth living. :shots:

No, it makes you smarter. You see, your brain contains many different types of brain cells. Some make you smarter, they are the strong ones. Other's make you dumber, they are the weak ones. Alcohol kills brain cells, sure, but just the weak ones. That's why the more you drink, the smarter you get.

But seriously, alcohol in moderation (a couple of drinks a day), especially if it's red wine, is actually good for you. It's a natural product, and our bodies are well equipped to metabolize it. Of course if you drink massive amounts of it, that could be a problem.

Even my father, who never drank much of anything for most of his life, has taken his wife's advice (she's a radiologist) and now has a glass of red wine every day. It's good for his heart she tells him.
