Walking down a street beside us today and struck up a ratchet-jaw with a neighbor I had never met...I commented on the grey Camero just sitting in his yard...He said " you know - got to crank her up and run 'er a bit , tags expired and I just parked it...only has twenty some thousand miles ." I walked over and looked...an 80's TP Z28 with 2002 plates ! THEN he showed me inside his garage...A 2004 Vette w/smoke top and 3800 miles he bought new !

Thought my wife's truck would be the garage queen like her SSR was, only had 6,000 miles in 3 years. Well she is driving the wheels on this one, 8400 miles in 13 months. She doesn't work and has the Suburban to drive if she needs to.

I know most people don't consider a C4 worth much and my '92 has 135K on it but it only gets driven about twice a month. Especially now that it needs a driver side window motor and is in the middle of a replacement project for said window. I have had it for almost four years and have only put about 10K miles on it.

I have always driven all my cars. Most 'till the wheels fell off. I cannot understand just letting a car sit. What fun is that? :skep:

These are usually the "round tuit" guys who wouldn't sell it to you but let it die behind the shed. I offered to keep the '04 over at my house and give him a ride whenever !

Does me having my C4 on stands in the garage since January make it a garage queen?

My wife just turned 1000 miles when we put her Redline 2008 Saturn Sky in storage. She only dirves it in the summer and when she does take it to work its only 6 blocks.
