I had a loose filling, so I already had an appointment.
I flossed this morning and POP.

Turns out it was all a filling, tooth is fine. Getting a new filling.

That must have been a really old filling. They haven't used amalgam fillings for about 20 years or more. Nothing to do with expense either. Got a lot to do with mercury poisoning from that material, over time. Against the law to use it now. :nono:

Military doesnt pay for white. Only white fillings for front teeth.
Have to find a dentist that doesn't care and is willing to eat the cost.

I got that specific filling at bootcamp, may of 2002.
