Granted, I slept 14 hours last night with ease and woke up pretty refreshed, but food and smells are not like they used to be. (Heart attack on Thursday) I did some laundry today and emptied the dish washer, ate about 1,000 calories all day, so I'm not back to normal by a long shot. All the vein and groin poking are releasing their pain today, and I look a pretty bruised color now.
There is nothing on TV or internet. I can't ride my tractor or the rider mower, and getting hot outside is a no-no. I'm limited to lifting 20 pounds. I've come a long way from Boxing, kicking ass, and chasing skirts. I got old overnight....

It's time you sat down and took a long hard look at your lifestyle and either make changes or make funeral arraignments.

I'm making changes. I have a good law practice that I can merge with a very respectable and large law firm here and have provisions for my finances and my daughter's finances.
I'm always aware of my mortality, which doesn't scare me.

Everyone knows, or at least should know, they are going to die.
And it's not just about finances. It's about getting your kids and hopefully grand kids educated fully so they can avoid the mistakes we've made.

Do it then. Merge so you have incoming funds so you can relax and enjoy what time you have left on the green side of the grass.

I was thinking bout the heart attack so much, I completely forgot to type I hope you have a quick recovery, and come out of this better than before!
From an experienced heart attack survivor (quintuple by-pass) listen to the doc, don't over do it, relax and do your suggested regimented exercises. It will take some time to get back to normal. I can say I was back to work in three weeks, but limited duty. Been doing OK since 2002. I'm hoping you do as well.

50 years ago, you would have probably been a goner, so count your lucky stars, and wake up each day and appreciate the second chance. Besides....life would be boring around here without you! :yesnod::moon: :D

You've obviously still got something to do here...get well, be well, live good. :cert:

Nah, you just need to get back to boxing, kicking ass, and chasing skirts again!
Hope you start feeling better soon :yesnod:
