Bexar County sheriffs deputies are investigating what they call 'suspicious activity,' after a 12-year-old girl came forward claiming she was approached by a man in a white van who sped off after she screamed.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 10000 block of Raven Field Drive on the far west side.
The girl told investigators a Hispanic man had been following her in the van for a short time before stopping.
She told deputies the man rolled down his window and she screamed, it was then, she said, the driver sped away.
Another girl, a teenager, told investigators she had a similar experience a few hours earlier on Creek Crown about 5 miles from there.
The teen was able to snap a photo of the van. Deputies haven't released that photo yet since, they say, no actual crime has been committed.
