saw a news report of close to 1000 dogs have died from it after being administered. The company and vets say there is no link you can take that with a grain of salt ask the thousand dead dogs what they think...

I have been giving Trifexis to both my dogs for years now. 2 of my co workers give their dogs Trifexis.

So I need more info on it

Give it to my dog without issue.

Also as we discussed, the data show this level of reports is similar for other products dispensed for heartworm prevention.

We stopped giving it to our Boxer Bruce after he threw up off of it repeatedly. He takes Sentinel flea and heartworm medication.

I agree too many complaints about trifexis with death related issues, seizures and dogs becoming lethargic. I'm not willing to risk it anymore. I'll just go back to the old heart worm medication.

It is not undetermined with over 1000 deaths reported by the owners. My opinion not worth the risk. Remember vets like regular doctors which are in cohutes with medical suppliers and push products that line their pockets. I don't trust any of them and my vet is a friend and he recommends trifexis but I have veto powers...:D
