Neighbors 65 Big Block Vette

I was talking to my neighbor this morning about his 65. I gotta get pics of this thing for you guys. Really a nice clean car.

65 Big Block (396) Vert, 4 speed.

Interesting thing is, and I've heard of this but never seen it in person, it has two exhaust systems. He was demonstrating it to me.

His wife doesn't like the noise of the side pipes, so he had some extremely quiet mufflers installed in the rear...you can't even see them unless you get under the car. There is a small button under the dash you can push to switch back and forth between either configuration.

He said he'd let me drive it one of these days. :seasix::)

One year only - 396. A guy on CF had an original paint black/black, original motor with race history many yrs. ago. I lusted heavily after that car. It was in Calif.,too.

This one doesn't have the original block in it, although it was an original BB car. Motor looks stock, even though it's 600+ HP. :yesnod:

Shape wise, I would put it in the same realm as my C3, maybe slightly better. More or less a driver. Beefed up suspension etc to handle the extra power.
