Damn it. My hair is falling out in handfuls from Methotrexate. When you stop taking it, the hair can grow back - but docs are saying I'll be on it indefinitely.

So I trade my hair for remission. Fcuk me. I hope my head looks good like Picard.

Since you feel better just deal with the side effects. It's just hair in the grand scheme of things. Do not shave it if your scalp is irritated. Just cut it close with scissors.
I have a friend that has lost her hair for the second time. Second round of chemo for pancreatic cancer, a sil and an aunt lost their hair from chemo, and two friends lost their hair and their battle with breast cancer. All these brave ladies said "it's just hair".
Oh! One more thing...NO comb-overs!

Thanks. I have a hat. This is my second time too. But since I'll be on the drug indefinitely - I doubt it will grow back.

I just need to get used to it. I agree that the disease is much worse than the side effects of the drugs keeping it in check.

Why don't any of the drugs make your dick bigger? It's not fair.
