In my part of the Country, weeds grow like wildfire. I used to use RoundUp, but it became too ineffective to be economical. I now use a mixture of white vinegar, salt, and dish washing liquid, which is cheaper and more effective, but I don't use it around my garden vegetables for obvious reasons.
Hoeing weeds in the garden in this heat and humidity is a killer. I thought of getting a propane weed burner hooked to a 20-lb. cylinder. I can attach the cylinder to a small dolly to pull it around. Filling the cylinder costs about $16. (They put only 15 lbs. in them now.)
Pros? Cons? Is the cost of using it good or bad?
I have one. It is fun to play with at night after a few drinks. :dixie:

I may have an old golf club caddy you could strap it to.

Would that be better than my mini-dolly?

My In-laws neighbor uses one in his garden. He says that it works pretty well, but has to use it every few weeks, as the weeds come back. My garden is small enough, that I just pull any weeds that pop up.
