So much work going on. Feels weird to have the car at someone's shop other than mine.
Dave has been going around and repairing cracks. There's a lot of em...

I'm pleased that he is not just using bondo. He is using glass.
Meanwhile, I'm refreshing the interior

I could be wrong for your year of Vette, but on the '67 at least the little groove around the black color on the console is left chrome.

You know, when I was making that decision I thought to myself "Surely there is nobody paying THAT close attention...."
Sigh. Oh and stop calling me Surely.

I am indeed. Guess what the issue was? No, seriously. Guess.
OK I'll tell you. It didn't have the stupid rubber bumper at the top of the pedal assembly.
You might be wondering "How the **** does a guy build an entire car and not know there is a rubber bumper at the top of the pedal assembly?"
To which I would reply "You can't see it in the AIM and since it was gone when I got the car - I had no idea it existed."
Then I would say "I know....still stupid." :kick:

Wouldn't have guessed that.
Car's gonna be awesome when I buy it off of you. :leaving:

Did someone add those 67 backup lights to your 64?....and you're filling them in?
Console looks great, and who gives a damn about a little chrome groove. It's not like your car is all original or anything.
 From a scratch on the fender to a total resurrection.....talk about project creep!
And ....the scratch is still there?
Thanks for the update Pete.

That was a big 'ol crack right in the ass.
Spence gives a damn. Apparently. F_cking old goat.
We are going to keep the big scratch as a reminder to never drive the car ever.

I had to fix a crack in my 66's assend that was exactly in the same spot. My brother backed it into my mothers car.
What's on the car right now....expoxy primer? :bigears:
seriously, when are you going to fix the scratch. It looks like it's right down into the glass? :(

Galaxy Silver Pearl is drop dead awesome out in the sun. Excellent choice. We painted an old Cutlass I had GSP, never once took that car out without being asked about the color.
