Anybody using one? How are the rewards?
I'm thinking of getting one for tax purposes so I don't have to keep receipts and I can enter in my mileage when filling up the truck.

I use one up here for keeping records of my gas cost, and I get a couple of cents off the price at the pumps. Every savings help. :yesnod:

Most places will give you the cash price with their CC, except Shell. Shell sucks, don't get a Shell card. :yesnod:
We use discover for everything, $3K-$4K every month, provides a nice cash-back. And you can look at purchase categories on line to track your gas.

Same with Capital One. I use my Venture card for everything. If you want to use multiple cards-Sign up for Mint.com. It tracks all of your card purchases and sorts them.

I'm looking for more of a fleet style card. One that requires you to enter in mileage so I don't have to maintain a log. This will be used solely for gas. My truck is titled under my company. I want to be able to pull up and print off an online mileage log with my gas receipts to furnish my CPA with at years end.
We have a Delta AmEx we use pretty much exclusively for everything else.

I dunno why so obsessive about it all, for years/decades as a contractor, I just put all my receipts in the desk drawer never bothered to even track them to any particular job....income went to the bank, statements showed up, checks sent to the gas/tire/CC companies.....
Tax time I just separated it all out by size, really, 8x11 bills in one stack, gas print outs in another, etc.....totaled it all up, handed the totals to my CPA, he fills out the forms.....done deal....

I have 3: Phillips 66 (or Union 76); Chevron; Shell.
Phillips gives you the reward right at the pump for a reduction. Chevron is usually the most expensive gas in my neck of the woods. They don't offer any that I know of. Don't use Shell much.

We used wex for our service vehicles at my last job: Fuel Cards for Small Business | WEX Inc. (http://www.wexinc.com/fleet/small-business/)
